Cycling along the outer borders of the municipality of Postojna.

In front of PTC Primorka in Postojna at 7:30 (departure at 8:00)

ROUTE DESCRIPTION: 
The circular Corona tour runs along the outer limits of the Postojna municipality, with 80% of the route being on forest gravel paths, as more than half of the municipality is covered by forest. We ride far away from the hustle and bustle of civilization, through the Javornik forests, at the foot of Nanos, along an old Roman road, and finally past the ruins of the once-mighty baroque Hošperg Castle. The tour is a real treat for endurance cyclists who enjoy nature, with 100 kilometers and as much as 2,000 meters of altitude gain. A perfect ten!

EQUIPMENT:
Technically faultless mountain bike with profiled tires and front suspension or a gravel bike, cycling helmet (mandatory), gloves, spare inner tube, appropriate clothing, sufficient amount of food and drinks (2 refreshments - lunch and snack - are included in the tour price).

PRICE:
The price for a full-day guided tour with a mountain bike guide (approx. 12 hours), 2 refreshments (cycling lunch in a forest hut and a snack/drink at Hassberg Castle), at least five souvenir digital photos from the tour, and tour organization is 60 EUR per person. The tour will be carried out if at least five cyclists are registered.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 
Participating in the "Korona Tour - guided" counts as part of the "4th Corona Challenge" which takes place from April 30 to May 30, 2023. Registration for the "4th Corona Challenge" is required.
 
By registering, the participant confirms that they are aware of the difficulty of the tour and meet the health, physical, and technical requirements for safe participation. The participant rides at their own risk and is obligated to follow the instructions and decisions of the tour guide. In case of extremely bad weather, the tour will be rescheduled, and all registered participants will be informed.
